Linux Professional Institute Elects New Members to Board of Directors

(Sacramento, CA: September 1, 2015) – The Linux Professional Institute (LPI), the leading vendor-independent Linux certification organization, today announced the addition of three members to their board of directors. The new directors, Jon “maddog” Hall, Evan Leibovitch, and C. Scudder Mead are long-term supporters of the Linux Professional Institute community. They join the existing board members consisting of Gen Narui, Torsten Scheck, Christopher “Duffy” Fron, and James Lacey.

Free 303-Security Beta Exams at FrOSCon

The Linux Professional Institute’s Central Europe team will be offering free beta exams of the new LPIC-3 303 Security exam at FrOSCon (https://www.froscon.de) in St. Augustin near Bonn on August 22nd and 23rd. The new version 2.0 of the 303 exam contains approximately 20 – 25% of new content and revisions compared to version 1.0.
