The limited-time offer gives candidates a second chance to succeed &#8211; at no additional cost. From May 1 to June 12, 2025, anyone who opts-in to the promotion and then schedules and completes their LPI certification exam through Pearson VUE will be eligible for one free retake if they do not pass on their first attempt.<\/p>\n<p>The offer is intended to support IT professionals by reducing the pressure of exam day and helping them confidently pursue their Linux and open source certification goals. \u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to be part of this initiative by Pearson VUE to help test takers advance their open source and Linux careers,\u201d says G. Matthew Rice, Executive Director of Linux Professional Institute.<\/p>\n<h2>How to Participate<\/h2>\n<p>Candidates must opt-in to the promotion via the link below before scheduling their exam:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pearsonvue.com\/us\/en\/test-takers\/free-retake.html\">https:\/\/www.pearsonvue.com\/us\/en\/test-takers\/free-retake.html<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The initial exam must be scheduled and completed between May 1 and June 12, 2025 in order to qualify for the free retake. The free retake exam appointment must take place between July 7, 2025 and January 20, 2026. Vouchers that have been purchased before May 1, 2025, and do not expire before June 12, 2025, can be used to register for the initial exam appointment.<\/p>\n<p>This promotion is offered by Pearson VUE.
