The offer gives eligible candidates an additional opportunity to pass their LPI certification exam at no extra cost.<\/p>\n<p>From September 29 to November 17, 2026, candidates who opt in to the promotion and then schedule, purchase and complete their LPI certification exam through Pearson VUE can receive one free retake if they do not pass their initial attempt.<\/p>\n<p>The promotion is intended to give IT professionals greater flexibility and help reduce the pressure of exam day as they work toward their Linux and open source certification goals.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re glad to join Pearson VUE in this initiative, helping test takers advance their Linux and open source careers,\u201d says G. Matthew Rice, Executive Director of Linux Professional Institute.<\/p>\n<h2>How to Participate<\/h2>\n<p>Candidates must first opt in to the promotion using the link below before scheduling their exam:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pearsonvue.com\/us\/en\/test-takers\/free-retake.html\">https:\/\/www.pearsonvue.com\/us\/en\/test-takers\/free-retake.html<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The initial exam must be scheduled, purchased and completed between September 29 and November 17, 2026 to qualify for the promotion. Candidates who do not pass their first attempt may be eligible for one free retake, which must be completed between January 4 and April 7, 2027.<\/p>\n<p>This promotion is offered by Pearson VUE.
