SUMMARY:LPI at OLF ’25: Ohio Linux Fest
DESCRIPTION:Linux Professional Institute (LPI) is proud to support the OLF Conference 2025 as a Media Partner. OLF is a long-running free and open source software conference in the United States Midwest\, bringing together developers\, system administrators\, educators\, and community advocates for a full day of talks\, birds of a feather sessions\, and networking in downtown Columbus. \nThe 2025 edition will be a one-day experience as the OLF team evaluates new venues and formats for future years. The event program includes keynotes\, technical presentations\, an expo area\, community posters\, and an evening raffle followed by an afterparty. \nLPI will be present with a table hosted by Jon “maddog” Hall\, Chairman Emeritus of the LPI Board and a long-time supporter of OLF. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet maddog\, learn about LPI’s certifications and community initiatives\, and connect around the role of free and open source software in education and industry. \nThe conference schedule features a range of sessions on open source practice\, infrastructure\, data\, and community. The day will close with Jon “maddog” Hall’s talk Footnote: Not About Being Free but About Having Control\, focusing on how GNU/Linux and free software give individuals and organizations more control over their systems and choices.
