LPI Academy Requirements

Target Audience

The LPI Academy Curriculum is directed towards those students who are attending degree granting institutions and NonProfit Organizations, including but not limited to:

  • High Schools
  • Upper Schools
  • Independent Schools
  • Academies
  • City and Community Colleges
  • Public, Private or Vocational Universities
  • Technical Colleges or Institutes

Note: LPI reserves the right to approve or deny the application of any organization for any reason.

Academy Components

LPI Academy curriculum tracks consist of the following elements:

  • LPI Exam Objectives and Examinations
  • LPI Partner Course Materials
  • Classroom Instruction
  • Classroom Labs

LPI Linux Essentials is an excellent starting place for an ICT student interested in learning Linux and becoming more familiar with Open Source software as a whole. LPI Linux Essentials is also an excellent overview for a nonICT student interested in acquiring ICT skills.

Linux+ powered by LPI/LPIC1* is for students who show aptitude and skills in Linux and desire to pursue the professional track, which will culminate in a career in ICT.
