DESCRIPTION:November 11-12\, 2026\nFES Acatlán\, UNAM\, Naucalpan de Juárez\, Mexico\n\nLinux Professional Institute (LPI) will take part in MoodleMoot Mexico 2026\, the Mexican edition of the MoodleMoot conferences held by the Moodle community around the world. The event takes place on November 11 and 12\, 2026\, at the Facultad de Estudios Superiores Acatlán of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). \nAbout MoodleMoot Mexico 2026\nMoodleMoot Mexico brings together educators\, developers\, IT professionals\, institutions and technology leaders to share knowledge\, experience and best practices around Moodle and the wider open source ecosystem. Across two days of talks\, workshops and networking\, participants explore Moodle\, Linux\, cloud technologies\, software development\, cybersecurity and the other open technologies behind modern digital learning. \nThe event is organized by Emprove México together with FES Acatlán\, UNAM\, and offers both in-person and virtual access. \nLPI at MoodleMoot Mexico\nLPI will present at MoodleMoot Mexico 2026\, bringing the perspective of Linux and open source careers to an audience that builds and runs learning platforms every day. \nThe connection is a natural one. Moodle is open source software that relies on Linux\, PHP\, databases\, cloud infrastructure and sound security practice: the same skills LPI certifications are designed to validate. For the educators in the room\, that means a recognized path from teaching with open technologies to teaching open technologies.
