Linux Professional Institute (LPI) is proud to participate in SeaGL 2025 as an exhibitor and media partner. SeaGL (Seattle GNU/Linux Conference) is a community-focused, grassroots free/libre/open-source software event that brings together developers, educators, advocates, and enthusiasts. The 2025 edition takes place on the University of Washington campus and is free to attend in person or remotely.

LPI will be present at the exhibitor hall with a booth open on both days, offering information about certifications, membership, and partnership opportunities. In addition, LPI representatives will contribute to the program with talks highlighting the impact of open source on education and careers.

– Ted Matsumura: Intro to OpenTofu: Open Source IaC Overview (Friday, November 7, 3:00 PM)

The conference emphasizes inclusivity and community-driven collaboration, featuring talks, workshops, and networking opportunities. Attendees can join in person without registration or connect remotely through Matrix.

    Massimiliano "Max" Roveri is a writer, blogger, editor and social media manager. He started writing on the internet in the late '90s and he went back to the digital media in 2009. Since 2014 he lives in Ireland and, since 2015, he has been part of the LPI Italy team. He is professionally involved in cultural mediation projects, with an event management side, and in education projects as a professional and as a volunteer as well.  With a background in humanities and philosophy, he loves to address the ethical and social aspects of Open Source, with an approach that nods to Gregory Bateson and Robert M.
