- When will I receive my certificate in the mail?
Once your exams are in your account we will mail out your certificate. Delivery times will depend on where in the world you’re located, but this typically takes 4-6 weeks to arrive. If you haven’t received your certificate after six weeks, please use the contact form above and provide us with the following information:
- Can I obtain a PDF copy of my LPIC certificate?
Unfortunately at this time PDF certificates are only available for Linux Essentials. Your LPIC-1, LPIC-2 and LPIC-3 certificate will be mailed to you via post.
- Where do I find my certification's verification code?
You verification code(s) can be found on your certification profile. Login to your account at lpi.org and scroll down to “Certifications”. Your verification code(s) can be found in the third column.
- How do I change my name, email address or mailing address?
You can change your email address and mailing address within your LPI profile. Login to your account at lpi.org and click on “Preferences” on the left. However for security reasons, if you need to change your name please use the form above to let us know. If you’re contacting us about a name change, please be sure to provide your first and last names separately.
- Why can't I see my CompTIA exams in my LPI profile?
If you wrote the Linux+ Powered by LPI exam(s), we will only receive your results once you’ve authorized CompTIA to send them. To do this, login to your CompTIA candidate account and select the Demographics tab, followed by the Settings sub-page. On this page you can select the option to have your exams sent to LPI. Any exams we receive from CompTIA will count toward your LPIC-1 certification. Please allow 48 hours for your CompTIA exams to appear in your LPI profile.
- Why can't I add LPI to my profile in the Tech Cert Registry (Credential Clearing House)?
First, please note that you must have at least one active certification with LPI before you can add LPI to your TCR profile. Once you’re certified, ensure that you’ve opted into the program by logging into your account at lpi.org and selecting “Preferences” on the left. After opting into the TCR program your credential status will be sent to TCR within 48 hours.
