LPI at OLF 2026: Sponsorship and Exam Discount

Linux Professional Institute (LPI) is proud to participate in OLF (Ohio Linux Fest) 2026 and support this grassroots conference for the GNU/Linux, Open Source Software, and Free Software community as a sponsor. The event will take place at The Ohio State University on November 20–21, 2026.

LPI will share a table with Project Cauã, hosted by Jon “maddog” Hall, Board Chair Emeritus of LPI and a long-time supporter of OLF. Participants can meet Jon “maddog” Hall to learn about LPI certifications and how they can help people get started or advance their careers in Linux and free and open source software (FOSS).

LPI will also offer a 20% discount on its exams. Stop by the table to learn how to claim the discount.

OLF, formerly known as Ohio LinuxFest, started in 2003 as a large inter-LUG (Linux User Group) meeting and has grown since then. It provides a place for the community to gather and share information about Linux and open source software. A large expo area adjacent to the conference rooms will feature exhibits from sponsors and nonprofit open source and free software projects.

The OLF Conference welcomes participants from all 50 US states and other countries.

Join LPI at OLF 2026 to meet the community, learn about Linux and open source opportunities, and connect with people working to make technology more open and accessible.
