LPI Publishes Security Essentials Learning Materials in Vietnamese

Ontario, Canada, 2026-04-30 — Linux Professional Institute (LPI) is pleased to announce the release of free Learning Materials in Vietnamese for its Security Essentials certificate.

The Security Essentials certificate covers the basic knowledge needed to understand key areas of IT security. It is designed for students who have completed an introductory IT security course, as well as for employees seeking to boost their cybersecurity skills and individuals aiming to build a solid foundation in the secure use of information technology.

“With this release, all LPI Learning Materials are now available in Vietnamese. We thank the translators Minh Trang Nguyễn and Thoa Huỳnh for their competent and consistent support,” says Dr. Markus Wirtz, Senior Product Manager at LPI.

The Learning Materials are free resources for teachers and students, developed to support exam preparation. They follow a clear, classroom-ready structure with separated explanations, exercises, and solutions, and are regularly updated to remain current.

The Security Essentials Learning Materials are now fully or partially translated into seven languages. By making them available in multiple languages, LPI aims to reduce language barriers and make cybersecurity education more accessible to a wider audience. This helps learners gain practical, job-relevant skills in their own language, supporting career development and stronger security awareness in everyday digital environments.
