Free LPI Exam Retake With Pearson VUE

Toronto, 2026-09-07 — Linux Professional Institute (LPI) is pleased to participate in a limited-time free exam retake campaign initiated by its global exam partner, Pearson VUE. The offer gives eligible candidates an additional opportunity to pass their LPI certification exam at no extra cost.

From September 29 to November 17, 2026, candidates who opt in to the promotion and then schedule, purchase and complete their LPI certification exam through Pearson VUE can receive one free retake if they do not pass their initial attempt.

The promotion is intended to give IT professionals greater flexibility and help reduce the pressure of exam day as they work toward their Linux and open source certification goals.

The initial exam must be scheduled, purchased and completed between September 29 and November 17, 2026 to qualify for the promotion. Candidates who do not pass their first attempt may be eligible for one free retake, which must be completed between January 4 and April 7, 2027.
