LPI At Chemnitzer Linuxtage: Booth, Paper-based Exams and New German Exam Versions

On March 11th and March 12th 2023, the Linux Professional Institute will join at Chemnitzer Linuxtage. It is the first in person edition of one of Germany’s most important open source events after the pandemic.

At the LPI booth, we will provide information about our exams, learning materials, and certifications, including the new Web Development Essentials and Security Essentials certificates. You are more than welcome to join us to ask questions or chat with us about Linux certification.

LPI offers paper based exams at the Chemnitzer Linux-Tage. There will be two exam sessions:

  • Sunday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m;
  • Sunday, 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Candidates can take the Linux Essentials, Web Development Essentials, and Security Essentials in both English and German language, as well as the LPIC-1 (German and English), LPIC-2 (German and English), and LPIC-3 exams (English only), as well LPI’s DevOps Tools Engineer and BSD Specialist exams (both in English only).

The exams will be offered at a community discount and will cost 65 Euro (Essentials exams), and 100 (all other exams). This is the first time LPI delivers the new Web Development Essentials and Security Essentials exams at an event, and it is also the first time that these exams are available in German.
