Linux Professional Institute (LPI) is proud to support the Angola–SA Open Source Hackathon 2025 as a Media Partner. The event is co-organized by the Angola Open Source Community (AOSC) and Geekulcha, with a focus on building, improving, and contributing to public, freely available software.

This two-day virtual hackathon brings together developers, designers, and open source enthusiasts from across Africa and beyond. The goal: to strengthen open source communities, enhance technical skills, and create sustainable collaboration through open innovation.

Participants will engage in coding sessions, workshops, and mentorship while contributing to global projects. Winners will be invited to the Geekulcha Annual Hackathon in South Africa later in the year.

LPI is proud to help promote this initiative and its vision of driving open source culture, skill development, and cross-border collaboration in Africa’s tech ecosystem.
