LPI at open source Day 2016

On April 26th the Linux Professional Institute Central Europe participated as one of the patrons of media at the Conference open source Day 2016 in Warsaw, Poland.

The open source Day is probably the biggest event in Poland dedicated to open source solutions and is also one of the most interesting events of the Polish IT sector with nearly 1000 attendees each year.

Open source solutions are becoming more recognized worldwide as a mixture of quality, security and competitive price. Leading banks, insurance and telecommunication companies as well as an even increasing number of Public Sector Organizations use open source based solutions. The conference was an opportunity for representatives of these environments to meet, exchange experiences, interact and learn about new trends in open source technologies.

LPI Central Europe actively participated at the event, providing information at its booth about possibilities to raise and certify the competences of IT professionals, especially within Linux technologies.

Also during the event, among the attendees who visited the LPI booth, two Linux Essentials Exam vouchers were drawn each worth 110 euros. If you are one of the visitors, please check your email to see if you are one of the lucky participants who won the voucher.
