In this article, we will learn about DNS, which is the scope of the LPIC-2 202 exam.
Let’s learn by actually building a simple server!

We will use only one server, with no master/slave or hierarchical structure, and a simple web server will be built and used to check connections.

BIND will be used to build the DNS server and Apache will be used to build the web server.
The distribution will be CentOS7 and the environment will be VirtualBox.
