Take the Initiative & Become an Event Lead

Participate in events as our official Event Lead where we set up an exhibit, offer exam labs, send a speaker or any other sanctioned LPI activity.
Linux Professional Institute actively drives involvement in events by offering multiple opportunities for engagement:
- As an exhibitor, where we can host a booth or table, providing a space to connect with attendees, share information about certifications, and discuss the benefits of open-source expertise.
- By contributing expert speakers who can deliver insightful talks and panel discussions on Linux, open-source technologies, and professional development.
- Supporting hands-on learning through exam labs, where attendees can take certification exams under the supervision of an accredited exam proctor.
These activities ensure that Linux Professional Institute not only participates in events but also adds significant value, fostering knowledge-sharing and professional growth within the open-source community.
Linux Professional Institute supports Event Leads by providing funding for travel expenses.

Booth Buddy - Event Volunteer

Are you looking to grow your network and build your resume? Volunteer your time at events by helping out at our booth.
Booth Buddies are volunteer representatives of Linux Professional Institute (LPI) providing volunteer assistance at Linux and Open Source events. Booth Buddies are key to our ability to provide event visitors with proper assistance, as they provide critical local representation which helps increase regional community engagement with LPI, Linux and Open Source advocacy.
