Once your exams have been loaded onto your account we will mail out your certificate automatically. No. You may write any version of the exams and they will count toward your certification equally. When we release a new version of an exam with updated objectives, the previous version remains available to candidate for 6 months. We do this to allow candidates to write the version of the exam that they have studied for. So for example, if you passed the 101-400 exam in the past, passing the 102-500 exam now would still result in achieving LPIC-1 certification. Please note that exams must be passed within 5 years of each other to count toward certification.
When writing a computer-based exam at a Pearson VUE testing centre, you'll typically see your results on your lpi.org profile within 24 hours. If we've not received your results after 48 hours, please contact us using the form above.
