Linux Professional Institute (LPI) with OSC at Linuxwochen Eisenstadt

April 21-22, 2023

We are thrilled to announce that Linuxwochen Eisenstadt 2023 is just around the corner, taking place on April 21-22, 2023.

This year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever before, with a range of exciting talks and presentations on all things Linux and open source.

We are excited to share that the organizers have partnered with LPI Channel Partner Open Source Certification (OSC) to provide a morning of lectures about LPI on Saturday, the 22nd of April. This collaboration will provide attendees with even more valuable insights and perspectives on Linux and open source. As a sponsor, OSC will provide a free Big Blue Button server for the event, and several of their partners have already confirmed to give a talk.

Its hybrid format sets Linuxwochen Eisenstadt 2023 apart from other events. Not only will attendees be able to join in person at the lecture hall, but they’ll also be able to participate online from their homes. Thanks to the support of Open Source Certification GmbH.

While most of the talks will take place in person, we’re excited to have several online speakers joining us worldwide. Attendees will have the chance to hear from diverse voices and perspectives, all united by a shared passion for Linux and open source.

Talks

Thomas Bartholomäus powered by GFU Cyrus (https://gfu.net) will show participants how to work productively on the console with LPI know-how; Peer Hartleben from Heinlein Academy will talk about daily administrative practice. Yves Hoppe powered by CMT (https://cmt.de) will close the LPI morning track with the topic LPI DevOps Tools Engineer: Docker in use – practical tips and tricks.

In the afternoon, Peer Heinlein from Heinlein Support will talk about their exciting new technology Opentalk – High-Performance Video Conferencing without US Cloud.

Special thanks to Platinum LPI Channel Partner – OSC (https://oscert.eu) for their valuable support in hosting this event. To learn more about the event and to register, please visit the website at https://www.linuxwochen.at/programm-eisenstadt-2023.
